Demo Download Instructions
The Actifeld demo is a fully functional but time limited version of the software that requires a special key to operate. It may be used only to evaluate the suitability of the software to your needs and must not, in any circumstances, be used for commercial or academic project work.
The file that is downloaded by clicking on the link on the “Obtaining” page is a 8mb zip file. Depending on your browser you will need to save this file onto your hard drive. Once the file has been downloaded, unzip it to a folder of your choice. Inside this folder you will find a “SETUP.EXE” file. Double clicking on this will run the Actifeld install procedure. Once this completes you will have a desktop icon on your machine and the software is ready for you to enter the unlock key.
The unlock key is obtained by emailing sales@actifeld.com. In the email please tell us who you are and where your heard about Actifeld. We will then send you a key within a few hours.
The first time the system starts after installation you must enter the unlock code and a user name. This user name will be used on the Word and PowerPoint documents produced at the end of each project. This name will also be used to create a unique directory under the ACTIFELD PROJECTS directory in MY DOCUMENTS,
Once the serial number has been accepted the system will terminate. Clicking on the desktop icon will initialise a working demo copy of the software.
The demo download does not include the .NET framework which Actifeld needs to run. If this is not present on your machine then you will need to download it by following the link above.
